Professionals and technical consultants wishing to provide your services to Douglas Herring & Associates on a contractual basis are invited to do so on this page.  As noted in other pages on this website, DHA frequently retains the services of other firms and independent consultants in order to be able to provide our clients with a full spectrum of technical environmental review capability.  By assembling hand–picked teams of experts tailored to a specific project, we are able to provide a greater degree of technical expertise than many larger firms that rely on in–house staff who may not have the degree of experience and expertise every key DHA team member possesses.  If you are a consultant wishing to work with DHA on a contractual project–by–project basis, click here.

Technical Consultants

Technical consultants are encouraged to review the other pages of the DHA website to learn about our values and approach to the work.  If our approach appeals to you and is consistent with your own work ethic, you are invited to submit your qualifications below for our consideration.  We have many long–established working relationships with skilled professionals who we hire periodically on a project–by–project basis.  We are always looking to expand the network of professionals we can hire from.

To be considered as a DHA subcontractor, you should have at least one of the following qualifications:

•	professional experience conducting environmental review in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and/or the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA);
•	professional planning experience, preferably in California; or
•	professional expertise and experience in one of the following areas:
		•	air quality
		•	biological resources
		•	cultural resources (historic or archaeological resources)
		•	energy conservation
		•	environmental hazards
		•	geology and soils
		•	green technologies and building components/techniques
		•	hydrology
		•	noise modeling and analysis
		•	risk assessment
		•	traffic impact analysis
		•	transportation planning
